It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Ransom Spence of Marion, Ohio, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jimmie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jimmie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jimmie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Spence and Geraldine Spence; his brothers, Timothy, Gary and Alan Spence; and his son Chip Alan Rife.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Spence; his children, Jim Ryan, Penni Horn (Grover) and Crystal Spence; and his close friend Nova. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (122 W Columbia St, Marion, OH 43302).
