She was predeceased by: her parents, James Preston Carter and Loudella Fleming; and her grandparents, Norman and RubyLee Fleming (Pittman). She is survived by: her son Tyron J. Pickens of Marion, OH; her siblings, Isaiah L. Fleming of Columbus, OH and Yarnell D. Brooks of Marion, OH; her nieces and nephews, Yamiya, Aaron Brooks and Ikeir'; her aunts and uncles, Wanda Singh, Angela Edmonds of Marion, OH, Gary Fleming and Larry Fleming of Marion, OH; and her great-uncle Herman Pittman (Arnita). She is also survived by cousins & friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mayes Community Temple (801 Bennett St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
