With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacob E. Matteson (Marion, Ohio), who passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 16. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Bill Persinger; his aunt Lydia Logan; and his stepfather Jason Farmer. He is survived by: his parents, Jaime L. Septer (Persinger) and Brock L. Matteson; his sister Jenaca Matteson of Marion; his half-siblings, Makaylah Matteson of Marion, Aliza Hamilton of Marion and Brock Matteson Jr. of Marion; his grandmothers, Linda Persinger of Marion and Patricia Toombs of Marion; and his aunts and uncles, Tracey Layne (Rob) of Marion, Martha Matteson of Marion, Tim Persinger (Jamie) of Marion and Dan Logan of Marion. He is also survived by his brothers from another Mother (Like Jake always said), Bobby Bruce, Jesse Schertzer, Myles Nutter, Trystin Bivins, Branden Jaggers and his Ridgedale Football Brothers.
