Gregory Spicer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Spicer (Marion, Ohio), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edward Spicer and Germaine Helen Schumaker; his siblings, Michael, Christopher Spicer, Janice Koontz, Theresa McGilton and Lisa Beck (Keith); and his son Gregory John Spicer.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra Large; his children, Rick Dirmeyer (Lora), Joseph Spicer (Denise), Annette Saveski (Robert), Michelle "Shelly" Spicer and Monica Bailey (Justin); his stepdaughters, Amy Jo Phillips (Gary) and Michelle Lynn Hoch (Mike); and his siblings, John Spicer (Karen), Gordon "Al" Spicer (Jerlyn), Andy Spicer (Diana), Jeanann Watkins, Germaine Woten (Mark), Beth Ayer (Tim) and Diana Spicer. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren; and his 10 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (122 W Columbia St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (251 N Main St, Marion, OH 43302).
