Douglas L. Shrimplin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas L. Shrimplin of Marion, Ohio, who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Shrimplin and Mona Jean Shrimplin (Myers); his sister Deborah; and his brother-in-law Tom Watson. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Shrimplin (Turner) of Marion; his pet Ruby; his siblings, Sherry Jo Huggins (John) of Mt. Vernon, OH, Gary Shrimplin of Mt. Vernon, OH and Frank Shrimplin (Connie) of Mt. Vernon, OH; his sister-in-law Chris Pirik (Mike) of Upper Arlington, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Watson, John Huggins, Joni Gennell, Jackie Huggins, Brittany Shrimplin, Jessica King, Amanda Shrimplin, Cody Shrimplin, Elizabeth Timm, Jordan Shrimplin, Michael Pirik, Robin Terndrup (Mike), Mary Randall (Derek) and John Wells Jr.. He is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Home Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
