With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Nelson (Marietta, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on January 8, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Augusta Stephens, Sophie Nelson and Eddie Cain. She is survived by: her friend Glenna; her grandchildren, Sammi, Johnathan and Mariann; her children, Cecil McCoy (Lorree) of Kemp, TX, Susan Weekley (Sam) of Layman, Ohio, John C. Nelson, III of Vincent and Annie Nelson of Cambridge, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kurtis Weekley (Cheyana), Brylee Weekley, Sammantha VanHoose, Anika Engstrom (Eric), Marianne McCarty (Chris), Jessica Jones (Eric) and Brody Weekley; her great grandchildren, Johnathan McCoy and Christopher Jr; and her siblings, Laverna Syrus (Ron) of Iverness, FL, Syd Hornsby of Marion, Dorothy Gillenwater of Mason, WV, David Cain of Mason, WV and Butch Cain of Mason, WV. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
