He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gerber and Dorothy Stack Gerber. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hockenberry; his sons, Tim Gerber (Kathi) of Lower Salem, Mike Gerber (Denise) of Lower Salem and Scott Gerber (Debbie) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Nathan Gerber (Rachel), Rachel Granville (Wes), Whitney Hoon (Eric), Cory Gerber (Brookeanne), Ashley Siers (Walker) and Staci LeMasters; and his brother Donald Gerber. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory will be appreciated to Salem Township Volunteer Fire Department or Highland Ridge Community Church.
