He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed and Alma Miller Reed; his daughter Leigh Ann Reed; and his brother David Reed. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Furr Reed; his children, Lauren Nichole Reed and Michael C. "Chris" Reed; his grandchildren, Erin and Merideth; and his sister Kim Backus (Jeff).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home - Pike (1021 Pike St, Marietta, OH 45750). The military honors was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel (1021 Pike St, Marietta, OH 45750).
