With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Holtz of Marietta, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Blackburn and Beatrice P. Hukill Blackburn; her husband Richard Holtz; her son Terry Holtz; and her brother William Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Todd Holtz (Karen), Tim Holtz (Swuanna) and Penny Carver. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
