He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleatus E. Gwinn and Opal F. Gwinn; and his grandson Brandon Gwinn. He is survived by: his wife Marcella Louise Gwinn; his children, Gillis "Ed" Gwinn (Theresa Morrison) and Theresa Morrison (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Kendel Frye (Jason), Allison Dunlap (Dustin) and Chase Hughes (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Ellie, Ross, Davis and Vera; his siblings, Izetta McGlothin, Dave Gwinn, Charlotte Ackers (Wilbur) and Drema Klatt; and his sister-in-law Bettie Lively.
