He was predeceased by: his father George E. Kidd; and his son Joshua Aaron Kidd. He is survived by: his mother Judie Zimmerman (George); his wife Barb Kidd (Wilson); his daughter Sheena Dee Kidd; his stepchildren, Jesse Lyons and Amber Lyons; his granddaughters, Keara Layne Kidd, Joelyn Raine Kidd, Kali Strahler, Kaylee Sandy and Desiree Lyons; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Kayden and Lily; his siblings, Crystal Brown (Rusty), Carmen Patterson (Robert), James Kidd (Kyla), Carla Sparks and Rick Hesson; his half-brother Shawn Zimmerman; and his stepbrother Scott Zimmerman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
