It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henri Theophile Fontaine of Marietta, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henri Theophile and Elberta Marshall Fontaine, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Poland Fontaine; his children, Kimberly Peters (Don) and Michael Fontaine (Kathie); his grandchildren, Kyle Peters (Jocelyn), Kassidy Peters, Micah (Tavaris), Ashley and Michael Fontaine; his great grandchildren, Terrian, Tavian, Carter, Arianna, Johnathan, Amiyah, Jayla, Bradley and Aleenah; and his brother Gerald Fontaine (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
