He was predeceased by: his parents, Chet Daugherty and Norma Neville Daugherty; his significant other Cathy Jo Hill; and his siblings, Ralph, Roger, Jimmy Daugherty and Connie Stewart.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Daugherty (Mary) and Shawna McKnight; his grandchildren, Kelsea Bashioum (Sam), Kylie Daugherty, Kyle Daugherty and Jacey McKnight; his great grandchild Oakleigh Bashioum; and his sister Bobbie Jo Baker (Eric Drake) of Cleveland.
