She was predeceased by: her parents, Azziz Pouzide and Agnes Haddad Pouzide; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kovaleski, Josephine Medley, Marie Mugrage and Francis Pouzide.
She is survived by: her children, Francis Cooke, Gerald Cooke and Mary Weddle. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews; and great-great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home - Marietta (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption (500 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the New St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Daily Bread Kitchen, c/o the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, 506 4th St., Marietta, Ohio 45750, in her memory, as she spent her entire life helping feed and care for the less fortunate in the Marietta area.
