It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Elizabeth Handschumaker of Marietta, Ohio, born in Newport, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Carver and Luella Shook Carver; her husband Charles A. Handschumaker; and her brother Wayne Carver. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn J. Lauderman (Gale), Charles J. Handschumaker (Janice), Robert R. Handschumaker (Pam) and Thomas W. Handschumaker (Cheryl); her siblings-in-law, Virginia Schafer and Calvin Wagner; her daughter-in-law Sundena Handschumaker; and her siblings, Kathleen Lewis, Ruth Harmon, Harriett Worstell and Wilbur. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
