She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Fulton and Tessie Leora Fulton; her husband Edward "Jake" Thomas Schoeppner; her daughter Helen Eileen Schoeppner; her stepgrandson Brandon Tanner; and her siblings, Leonard, Herbert, Homer, Leroy, Ernest, Edgar David Fulton, Ethel Wasson, Violet Biehl, Gertrude Lauer and Virginia Fulton.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Porter (Steve), Martha Tanner (Mike), Thomas, David Schoeppner (Maria) and Debra Houser (Jim); her grandchildren, Chris Porter (Darcie), Todd Porter (Sara), Kelly Birkas (Chad), Jill Grass (Bear), Elizabeth Schoeppner (Plamen Kirov), Daniel Schoeppner, Nicholas Schoeppner (Jenny), William Houser, Jacob Houser (Caroline), Sarah Schoeppner, Stephanie Houser, Patrick Schoeppner and Cathryn Schoeppner; her stepgrandson Chad Tanner (Leslie); her great grandchildren, Henry, Audrey Porter, Eva, Sarina Porter, Reagan, Quinn Birkas, Violet Grass and Riley Schoeppner; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sydney and Dylan Tanner; and her sister Bonnie Boley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Homes (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A vigil service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home - Marietta (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of St Mary of the Assumption (506 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the Salem Township Cemetery.
