He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Johnson and Opal Johnson; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his sons, James (Charlotte) and Brian (Becky); his grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob), Michael and Matthew; his niece Michelle (Charla); his nephew Tony (Denise); and his great-nephew Derek.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (801 Victor St, Belpre, OH 45714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
