With solemn reverence, we commemorate Debra J Lyons of Marietta, Ohio, born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose life came to an end on June 26, 2024 at the age of 67, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Orvel Metz; and her son Patrick McKitrick. She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Bibey of Washington, WV and Jessica Bibey of Sandford, NC; her grandchildren, Olivia Alexander, Damian and Eleanor Murphree; her mother Ella Burroughs (Arthur) of Parkersburg, WV; her sisters, Patti Stump (Chick) of Arnoldsburg, WV and Beth Warner (Don) of Parkersburg, WV; and also Bernard Lyons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Gospel Mission Food Pantry, Marietta Area Recycling Center, and St. Vincent De Paul Society.

“We didn’t know Debbie very well at all. We met her in the last couple of years while she was at the Arbors Nursing Facility where my mother is. Debbie was a beautiful person inside and out. She wasn’t able to communicate verbally, but she did by blowing kisses and smiling. She was much too young to leave her world but her failing health had taken most of any quality of life. While she was determined to heal she had one heck of a supporter, that was Bernie. With our Sympathy, John&Bev Huffman”
