We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Carol Mae Dennis of Marietta, Ohio, born in Fairfield, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Edwin Root Sr.; her husband Ron; her son Michael; her siblings, Patricia Sue Waterman, Robert Root and William "Bill" Root; and her siblings-in-law, William Waterman, Neil Dennis, Bruce Dennis and Judy Root.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Dennis (Cheryl Lynn) of Reno, Barry Dennis (Karen Weihl) of Marietta and Marsha Marshall (Loren); her brother Richard Root of Parkersburg; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Root of Little Hocking and Patricia Dennis of Marietta. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
It was Carol's wish that memorial donations be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mount Tom Rd., Marietta, OH 45750 in her memory to help the animals that need so much help.
