It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry R. May of Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barry R. May to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin May and Pearl May; and his son Alan Francis May. He is survived by: his wife Fran E. May; his children, Ryan Kendall May (Denay) of Marietta, Ohio and Christi Lee Anne Houston (Daniel) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sister Jan Merrill of Aurora, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Audrey May Siegelin (Adam), Camden May (Sophie), Kendal May, Sebastian Houston and Jameson Houston.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene (100 Mill Creek Rd, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grant Memorial Park (1606 W 26th St, Marion, IN 46953).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Bible Society, Hospice, or the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene.
