With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Douglas Barnes of Marietta, Ohio, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnes and Irene Lafferty Barnes; his daughter Stormy Dawn Barnes Handschumacher; and his brother Tom Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Jinnie "Susie" Young Barnes; his sons, Mike Barnes and Joe Barnes (Kristi); his grandchildren, Taylor Clark, Joey Barnes, Bree Barnes, Chance Clark, Jake Barnes, Madison Clark, Hannah Barnes and Caden Handschumacher; his son-in-law Dave Handschumacher; and his brother Larry Barnes (Sandy). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
