He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Staton and Mary Staton (Lowe); his wife Beulah J. Staton (Hunter); his son Kenneth Dale Staton; his brother Carlos Staton; his granddaughter Leah Staton; and his nephew Douglas Staton.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill (Maria) of Jacksboro, TN, Jesse (Donna) of Centerburg, Darryl of Chesterville, Tony (Beth) of Mt. Gilead and Paul (Elizabeth) of Fredericktown; his grandchildren, Jessica, Shaun, Justin, Emma, Kyla, Scott, Deva, Caleb, Brooke, Dylan, Sarah and Hunter; and his siblings, Jeff Staton (Nora) of Galion, Juanita McCauge (Jack) of Sunbury, Eddie Carol Monkus of Benton, TN and Charley Staton of Benton, TN. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
