He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Roscoe and Opal Gladys Deel (Owens); his wife Marilyn "Sue" Sutherland; his brothers, Kenneth Deel (Ruth), Daniel Deel and Omar Deel (Norma); and his son-in-law Larry Kanagy.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Deel of Marengo, Tammy Kanagy of Columbia City, IN and Patrick Deel of Marengo; his grandchildren, Janessa Leatherman (Justin), Amelia Torres (Daniel), Jaden Kanagy and Toby Kanagy; his great grandchildren, Isla, Maeve Leatherman and Ivory Torres; his brother David Deel (Loretta) of Marengo; and his sister-in-law Mary Deel of Marengo.
