He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lee Nelson (Tevis); his children, John Nelson (Angie Cicerella) of Marengo, Travis Nelson (Richonda Dorland) of Montana and Ryan Nelson (Erica Rose) of Galion; his grandchildren, Skyla Nelson, Briar Nelson, Raymond Nelson, Easton Nelson, Tamara Shivler, Mara Shivler, Abby Boothman, Payton Boothman and Colton Bonen; and his siblings, Betty Burton (Dick) of Forest, Hank Nelson (Brenda) of Cardington and Luke Nelson (Sherry) of New Bloomington.
