With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Karen Greer of Marengo, Ohio, born in Batesville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Platt and Violet Platt (Johnson); her husband Jim L. Greer Jr.; her son Phillip (Rhoads); and her siblings, Paul Platt and Barbara Breitenbach.
She is survived by: her daughter Belinda Rhoads (Keith); her stepchildren, Dody Prater (Wayne) and Lanny Greer; and her sister Emily Steimentz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel (637 State Rte 61, Sunbury, OH 43074, USA). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Gloria's name can be made to the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center (4340 Tamarack Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229).
