He is survived by: his parents, William Bertram and Diana Bertram (Dunphy); his wife Abdi (Butler); his children, Sarah, Peter, Rebeka, Ryan, Jesse, Seth, Kitra, Tovi, Even, Levi and Cianna; his brothers, Benjamin (Dana) and Nathan (Trudy); and his nieces and nephews, Drew, Marissa, Abigail, Juliette and Simon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abdi Bertram family.
