He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Clinehens and Mabel C. Clinehens (Linker); his wife Gertrude Clinehens; and his sisters, Marveline, Olive and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Wren of Bellefontaine; his sons, Terry Clinehens (Lora) and Christopher Clinehens of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Sarah Kipker (Andy), Mark Clinehens (Brittany), Todd Clinehens (Emily), Ginger Clinehens and Chet Clinehens (Michelle); and his brother Bernard Clinehens (Phyllis) of Maplewood. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Day City Hospice in Gerald's memory.
