With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emil Joseph Saloka in Maplewood, Ohio, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Saloka and Johanna Saloka (Piroch); and his siblings, Frank, John, Edward, Genevive, Ethal and Mary Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Joseph Saloka, Teresa Adamic (Jim), Annemarie Wenner (Jeff) and Susan Pillot (Marc); his grandchildren, Jay Adamic, Gregory Wenner, Mary Adamic, Tim Pillot, Heather Beukeman (Max) and Donald Adamic (Tabatha); and his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Willow, Fern and Trevor.
The family requests donations to St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury.
