She was predeceased by: her parents, John Short and Lucille Short; her child Tiara; and her siblings, John Short Jr., Richard Short and Patricia Short Hunter (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her husband Johnell Young Jr.; her children, Tiffany Short, Sabrina Short, Brandy Short, Ebony Nicole Dancy (Gary), Johnell Young III and Eugene Young (Amonii); and her brothers, Eugene Short and Douglas Littlejohn. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Three Greatgrandchildren, A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
