She is survived by: her mother Volura C Elkins; her sister Ayesha Remir Brooks-Parkman; her husband Charles E Lockhart; and her sons, Clifford M Jefferson, Eric L Jefferson and Aaron M Jefferson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
