She is survived by: her children, Derrick Taylor, Pamela Lightfoot (Dan), Sonequa Smoot (Charles) and Nachae Watters; her grandchildren, Shaina Hutson (Ray), Mone Idom (James), Artanone Taylor, Danny J Lightfoot II (DJ), Derrick Taylor, Jazmin Williams and Tiffani Fuller; her great grandchildren, Aniyah Idom, James Idom, Cartier Taylor, Carter Hutson, Mia Lightfoot, Cayla Hutson, Malia Taylor, Olivia Idom and Danny J Lightfoot III; her siblings, Mary Alice Burks, Alonzo Taylor Jr., Ruth Jarrett, Johnny Taylor and Gregory Taylor; her nieces and nephews, Denise, Ersina, Diedra, Aretha, Tracy, Michelle, Kadja, Elsi Anne, Ricco, Alonzo, Robert, Brian, Johnny and Gregory; and her close friend Vera Rackley.
A wake was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gaines Funeral Home (5386 Lee Rd, Maple Heights, OH 44137). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cleveland Memorial Garden (4324 Green Rd, Highland Hills, OH 44122).
