She is survived by: her husband Columbus Giles; her friend Verna Fard; her siblings, Joseph Patterson, Samuel Butler, Percy Butler, Willie Butler, Melvin Butler Sr., Bobby Ray Patterson, Joyce Butler, Gloria Patterson, Ira West (Angela), Cornelius Patterson (Sherry) of Toledo, Ohio., Jewel Patterson and Gladys Patterson of Toledo, Ohio.; and her grandson Joseph Ruffin (Rebecca) of Lakewood, Ohio.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Prior to the Covid pandemic, she agreed to a personal bible study with her daughter and Linda Patterson.
