He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Agnes; and his sister Rosemary. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Donna Fertig (Arthur), Dan (Julie), Debbie and Diane Balata; his grandchildren, Jason (Grace), Ashley (Shawn), Alex (Kim), June, Donnie, Randy (Emily), Ryan, Allyson Hamlin, Stephanie (Frank), Breanne and Logan; and his sister Marie.
