He is survived by: his siblings, Jack Stewart (Ruth) and Rose Wysmierski; his sons, W. Mark Stewart (Beverly) of Ravenna, Doug Stewart (Diane) of Spokane, WA and Steve Stewart (Jennifer) of Mantua; and his grandchildren, Monica Pitts (Andrew), Trevor Stewart (Abigail), Tyler Stewart (Allyssa), Meredith Stanhope (Kyle), Daniel Stewart (Rebekah) and Jonathan Peter Stewart. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
