She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl P. Sommer and Louise H. Sommer; and her sibling Shelly Spetich. She is survived by: her close friend Greg Bowser; her children, David Genske, Jr., Deanna Genske (Charles Davis) and Debbie Zinsky (Ed); her siblings, Carl Sommer Jr. (Sue), Greg Sommer (Lydia D'Amato) and Susan Sommer; and her grandchildren, Nicole Pavella (Owen), Jessica Genske, Zach Zinsky, Bobby Davis and Lukas Zinsky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
