He was predeceased by: his parents, George Himes and Dorothy Grace Himes (Weaver); his former wife Connie (Courson); and also, Carol McLaughlin (late Fred), David Himes and George Himes.
He is survived by: his wife Debra (Zofcin) of Mantua Twp; his children, Vicki Morris of Newton Falls and Roy Jr. (Meredith) of Mantua Twp; his grandchildren, Zachary Morris, Kennedy and Grace Ludban Himes; and his siblings, Lanny Himes (Mary Lou) of Rimersburg, PA and Eleanor Himes of Hawaii.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the HIS Ministry Church (3051 OH-82, Aurora, OH 44202). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua Center (3991 OH-82, Mantua, OH 44255).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mantua Shalersville Firefighter Association, 10303 St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255.
