She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gantar and Clara Gantar (Kovacs); her sons, James Howell, Jr. and Michael Howell; and her siblings, Steve Salajko, Victor Salajko, Frank Gantar, William Gantar, Florence Gantar, Erma Romie and Freda Butcher.
She is survived by: her spouse James D. Howell, Sr.; her children, Jane Howell of Ravenna, Patricia Clay (Joe) of Windham, Thomas Howell (Ann) of Ravenna, John Howell (Rebecca) of Ocala, William Howell of Mantua, Christopher Howell (Bernie Davis) of Aurora and Frank Howell (Kim) of Newton Falls; and her siblings, John Gantar (Barbara) of McDonald and Mitzi Hughes of Girard. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 59 great-grandchildren.
