It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen DeWitt (Mantua, Ohio), born in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Shewchuk and Lena Shewchuk (Howsoski). She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Donna Maynard (late Bill) and Allen "Mickey" DeWitt (Barb) of Mantua; her grandchildren, Shannon Sayre (Chuck), Shawn Maynard, Kevin DeWitt (Hayley) and Dr. Kyle DeWitt (Jen Bechard); and her great grandchildren, Livie, Ella and Emma Sayre.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mantua-Shalersville Fire Department, or a charity of the donor's choice.
