He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Della Cain (Tickel); his wife Martha Ann Harris; his children, Walter and Sally; and his siblings, Mildred, Rose, Laura, Josie, Raymond (Sonny), James Henry, Jr., Clyde, John, Robert and Edgar (Pete).
He is survived by: his children, Harold Cain, Jr. (Donna) of Texas, Lysle Cain (Linda) of Florida, Charlie Cain (Lynette) of Garrettsville, Lois Schaffer (Tom) of Garrettsville and Carol Slaughter (Dave) of Garrettsville; and his brothers, Lloyd Cain of Garrettsville and Don McCort of West Virginia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
