He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stevenson and Geraldine Stevenson (Grenat); his spouse Francis E. Stevenson; and his sons, Mark E. and Gary A..

He is survived by: his son Michael of Kent; his sister JoAnn Heckel of Twinsburg; and his cousin LaVerne Carver of Columbia Station. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
