We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, at the age of 76, Carl Gillis of Mantua, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gillis and Margaret Gillis; and his siblings, Paul Gillis Jr., Arthur Oblisk (Bonnie), Gerald Oblisk (Sherry), Norman Gillis, William Gillis and Catherine Brandt.
He is survived by: his wife Vera; his brother-in-law Danny Etling; his siblings, Bernard Oblisk (Mary), Dale Gillis (Diane) and Margie Gesch; and his sister-in-law Mary Gillis.
