With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willa Dean Rachel in Mansfield, Ohio, born in Wayland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clenon Beverly and Bessie Beverly (Slone); her husband Melvin C. Rachel; her siblings, Landis, Donnie Beverly and Naviona Jordan; her granddaughter Nicole Rachel; and her great grandchild Conner Dennison.
She is survived by: her children, Lindy Rachel (Lisa), Scott Rachel (Amy), Jeff Cochran (Laura), Todd Cochran (Theresa), Kent Rachel (Amy), Theresa Buchanan (Chris) and Beverly Thomas (Luke); her grandchildren, Christopher Cochran (Meggen), Danielle Cochran, Cody Cochran, Kayla Passet (David), Shannon Hill (Mike), Brook Scheffler (Mathew), Shawn, Daniel, Taylor, Preston, Kamdyn, Brianna, Darnell, Kayden, Cruz, Miracle Rachel, Brandon Buchanan, Tyler Thomas (Maggie), Morgan and Brooklyn Thomas; and her siblings, Lon Beverly, Vanda Haymond, Lois Ball, Carl Beverly, Dick Beverly, Jim Beverly, Phyllis Fidler and Phillip Beverly. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
