Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia Grace Applegate of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 82, on February 25, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eaton and Mary Eaton (Jurgens); her husband Dr. Raymond E. Applegate; and her brother Charles Eaton, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Applegate of Brookline, NH and Dr. Gregory Applegate of Pepper Pike, OH; her grandsons, Matthew Applegate and Benjamin Applegate; and her siblings, Mary Jane Lump (John) of Mansfield, OH, Susan Clagg (Rodney) of Bellville, OH and Thomas Eaton of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield (98 S Diamond St, Mansfield, OH 44902). A vigil service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (104 W First St, Mansfield, OH 44902).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
