She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Smith and Lura Smith (Crummett); her husband Gordon; her brother Bernard; and her siblings-in-law, Katherine Smith and Richard Schiefer.
She is survived by: her children, Deana Spurling (Bill) of Mansfield and Dale Sponseller (Nid) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Brock Spurling of Lexington and Amy Wourms (Michael) of Cambridge, MA; and her sister-in-law Virginia Schiefer of Bucyrus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
