He was predeceased by: his parents, Petros Petrou and Vasiliki Petrou; and his siblings, Chrisoula Petrou and George Petrou. He is survived by: his children, Alex Sharick (Jennifer) of Ashland, Paul Sharick of Ashland and Dawn Sharick of Ashland; his grandchildren, Simon, Owen, Claire Sharick, Samuel and Ben Sharick; his brother Tom Petrou (Fania) of Ontario; his niece Lana Petrou; and his nephew Pete Petrou.
