He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Hardgrow and Fredonia Hardgrow; and his siblings, Sandra Akens, Vincent Hardgrow and Joseph Akens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tina Hardgrow (Tricia Rossi) and Andrew Akens; his son Sidney Wayne Hardgrow Jr. (Mindi); his grandchildren, Sidney Wayne Hardgrow III (Arabella), Nathan Hardgrow and Vanessa Hardgrow; and his nieces and nephews, Christina Pope (Joshua), Fredonia Crawford (Shala), Maria Zickfoose (Josh), Katia Akens, Michelle Akens and Nicole Akens.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace - Mansfield Plant. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
