The memory of Ruth Ann Bishop of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence McGinnis and Florence McGinnis. She is survived by: her husband Walter Louis Bishop of Mary's Church; her children, David Bishop (Geena), Cindy Hodges (Ken), Patty Harrington (Brad), Bill Bishop (Cassi), Judy Miller, Jim Bishop (Sandy) and Cathy Butcher (Steve); and her sister Marilyn Smith (Bob). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herlihy Funeral Home (173 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
