He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Ashworth and Ramona High; his nephews, Drew Wendt and Roger High; and his niece Lindsey Ashworth High.
He is survived by: his wife Joan High (Clark); his children, Douglas High of Lexington, KY and Laura Knaak (High) of Westlake, OH.; his children-in-law, Lyssa High (Beamer) and Joshua Knaak; his grandchildren, Jackson High, Kathryn Knaak, Harrison High and Luke Knaak; his stepgranddaughter Ally Alexsonshk; and his siblings, Phillip and Nancy Knight. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
