He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Salter and Dorothy M. Salter (Craig); and his brother William T. Salter. He is survived by: his sister Debra L. Crose (Salter) of Mansfield; his nephews, Jeremy Parsons and Christopher Parsons; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron Parsons, Trentyn Parsons, Myka Parsons, Nolan Parsons, Aeribella Parsons, Rebekkah Parsons and Peyton Parsons.
