He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard R. Fowler, Sr. and Agnes B. Fowler; his sister Anne; and his wife Miriam "Snookie" Hudson of Toledo. He is survived by: his children, Cathie DeLong, Jim Fowler (Tracy) and David Fowler; his grandchildren, Zachary DeLong, Hannah DeLong (Kendra) and Ryan Fowler; his great grandchildren, Claire DeLong and Emma Spore; and his sister Leslie May.
